About Water-Activated Tape
Water-activated tape (WAT), is also known as gummed tape, non-asphaltic tape, paper tape and Kraft tape, offer security and strength benefits that other sealing methods do not. For example, unlike plastic pressure-sensitive tape (PST), which can be easily removed and replaced or easily damaged with rough handling of packages, water-activated tape bonds with the carton and produces a sturdy, secure seal.
