New Stainless Steel Gummed Tape Dispenser Resists Corrosion and Bacteria Build-Up

Shelton, CT, September 2005 -- Better Packages announces a stainless steel version of its rugged and most popular manual dispenser for water-activated (gummed) tape. The Better Pack 333 S was developed primarily for use in food processing environments where machinery must frequently be washed down to maintain sanitary conditions. The unit's stainless steel construction allows the machine to be cleaned on a regular basis, thereby preventing the buildup of bacteria while resisting corrosion. The Better Pack 333 S can be used in any packaging environment where significant precipitation and moisture are present.

The Better Pack 333 S features the same rugged construction and superior mechanics of the recently enhanced 333 Plus unit. Some features include guillotine sheer blades for clean cutting, two water brushes for uniform tape wetting, and the ability to dispense up to 30 inches of plain or reinforced water-activated tape in one stroke (more with multiple strokes). The machine will be shown for the first time in the Better Packages booth (N-8515) at Pack Expo 2005 in Las Vegas, September 26 through 28.
